Approaching Mental Health with Compassion.
FAQs
Getting Started
-
Deciding to start therapy is a personal choice. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or struggling with something that is affecting your daily life or relationships, therapy may be a helpful place to explore what's going on. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation so we can discuss what you're experiencing and see whether we're a good fit.
-
Our first session is an opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like support with. We'll begin getting to know one another and discuss your goals for therapy. We can also talk about what approaches may be helpful based on your individual needs.
-
No. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can explore what's been going on together and identify areas you'd like to work on. You also don't need to know which type of therapy or approach is right for you; that's something we can determine together.
-
No. You can contact me directly to book a consultation or appointment. A physician or other healthcare provider does not need to refer you.
